For Rapid Results!

Marine City Laser Therapy

Our Class IV therapeutic Laser delivers specific red and near-infrared wavelengths. This light induces a photochemical reaction and therapeutic effect called photo-bio-modulation (PBM). If you have an acute or chronic condition, superficial or deep, Laser therapy can help! Laser therapy accelerates the healing process by increasing circulation, enhancing tissue repair and decreasing inflammation and pain. In the management of chronic and acute pain, Laser therapy is a drug-free, surgery-free, and pain-free treatment option!

Laser therapy can be a complementary strategy used in a clinical setting to provide symptom relief for patients suffering from osteoarthritis, acute and chronic pain according to a PubMed review.

Class III vs. Class IV laser depth treatment

Not All Lasers Are The Same.

At The Gilbert Clinic we use class IV Laser technology for maximum results.

Many therapeutic lasers being used to this point were Class IIIa or IIIb, since their power output was under 500 milliwatts. Our Class IV Therapeutic Laser delivers up to 12,000 milliwatts of therapeutic laser energy. It is one of the few Class IV therapy laser with wavelength selectability, intense superpulse, and multiple therapy presets. The higher power of Class IV therapy lasers delivers a therapeutic dosage of laser energy to a larger volume of tissue, thus producing more immediate, significant results.

FAQ’s About Laser Therapy

Through more than twenty years of use by healthcare providers all over the world, very few side effects have been reported. Occasionally, some old injuries or pain syndromes may feel aggravated for a few days as the healing response is more active after treatment.

The typical treatment is 10 to 20 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated

Acute conditions may be treated daily, particularly if they are accompanied by significant pain. More chronic problems respond better when treatments are received 2 to 3 times a week, tapering to once a week or once every other week, with improvement.

This depends on the nature of the condition being treated. For some acute conditions, 6-8 treatments may be sufficient. Those of a more chronic nature may require 12 to 15 (or more) treatments. Conditions such as severe arthritis may require ongoing periodic care to control pain.

You may feel improvement in your condition (usually pain reduction) after the very first treatment. Sometimes you will not feel improvement for a number of treatments. This does not mean that the condition is not improving. Each treatment is cumulative and results are often felt after 3 or 4 sessions.

Yes! Laser Therapy is often used with other forms of treatment, including physical therapy, chiropractic adjustments, massage, soft tissue mobilization, electrotherapy and even following surgery. Other healing modalities are complementary and can be used with laser to increase the effectiveness of the treatment
